Electronic Medical Record Project Experience: I have 9 years of experience leading and managing large training projects (i.e. computerized physician order entry, nursing, ancillary and physician documentation, medication administration and barcoding, bed management system, emergency room department, etc.) in inpatient and/or ambulatory settings. I have assisted with developing an EMR training department, learning management systems, training website, a computer training room, lesson plans, training programs for clinical staff, EMR marketing strategies, etc. Academic Experience: I have been teaching undergraduate courses in health informatics for over 10 years. In my academic role, I introduced innovative ideas for educating health informatics students and I have played a major role in developing and updating curriculum in graduate and undergraduate informatics programs. I am currently serving as the Diversity Ambassador for the Stony Brook Southampton campus and Co-Chair of the HIMSS NY Scholarship Committee.
