Description
This presentation will demonstrate how the Sittig & Singh Socio-Technical model is used to create an ethnography of an informatics department at a large, metropolitan health care facility in North Carolina. The ethnography will be used in a course which is part of a master’s degree program in Health Informatics. The ethnography will help students understand the culture of an informatics department.
