Description
At the University of Washington (UW), we are creating an undergraduate program in biomedical and health informatics as a specialization attached to an existing degree in informatics. This program embodies a close collaboration between the Information School and the department of Biomedical Informatics and Medical Education within the School of Medicine. With a relatively low burden (four courses), the program meets an important and growing need to provide undergraduates with cross-disciplinary training.
