Description

This work describes a pilot using an academic electronic health record (EHR) to automate the scoring of medical students as they worked through clinical scenarios. These exercises include questions that are answered by entering the appropriate orders and diagnoses in the EHR. The EHR compare student entered orders and diagnoses to a scoring rubric to generates an answer score automatically.
