The University of Mississippi Medical Center created a Qlik application that houses all of the de-identified data from the Research Data Warehouse. The data captures over 750,000 patients and 24 million encounters. Data can be filtered on the patient, encounter and data level. It is being incorporated into several classes in a Master’s of Health Informatics and Information Management program. Students are required to use the application to mine data for multiple research projects.
