Description
There are opportunities at the Intersection of Nursing Informatics and Public Health Informatics, particulary where there is a need for health information exchange to meet public health goals. We present a case study of a practicum to address opioid surveillance and the need for nursing informatics students to have an interdisciplinary practical experience to meet a new accreditation requirement.
