This ignite talk highlights our experiences and successes designing and teaching a course on data science tools and models to biomedical informatics trainees at the graduate and post-doctoral level. We present representative images and snapshots of the course that showcase the breadth and depth of learning achieved. Our goal is to share our knowledge and inspire others to attempt and achieve similar results.
