Industry partners have had real-world experiences our students crave and have knowledge that can help prepare our students for work. The Team Dynamics in Healthcare IT Projects course, required for students in the undergraduate biomedical informatics program at Arizona State University, provided a testing ground for incorporating industry partners and project-based learning with a constructivist teaching approach. In this presentation, we will share students’, mentors’ and the instructor’s perspectives on the class and planned improvements.
